Since 2018, he has been director of the KijkOnderzoek Foundation (SKO). Where his mission is to create the best possible Video measurement within the best Cross-Media measurement. Which is being brought to life in the NMO project.

As a managing director of Vinex she has been leading the digital audience measurement project in the Netherlands since 2017 – at the heart of media research, where the changes in the media landscape and business models demand for new approaches in measurement and data integration solutions.
Karin has been actively involved in the ambitious NMO (Nationaal Media Onderzoek) project from the start. She is enthousiastic about the new study, that will deliver digital audience measurement data from an integrated cross media design. She looks forward to the next phase, where the project will really come to life when the first datasets are being introduced.

In his former years Gary concentrated on all forms of market research with ACNielsen and Millward Brown, but then moved on to become a media strategist at Mindshare and Universal McCann before joining Nestle’ SA as a Consumer Insights Manager and working his way up to a Head of Media position. He was then headhunted by MTN SA for a senior management position looking after Trade Marketing, Store Design & Build, the launch, and stewardship of the MTN Online Store and digitization of the Branded Retail Channel. Most recently Gary held various Exco group positions at Publicis Media whilst retaining a BUD position at Zenith Media. In 2018 he was selected as a judge for the AMASA awards.
Gary is passionate about the media industry and enabling deep and meaningful consumer insights that form the basis of sound strategies at both agency and corporate levels. For Gary it starts with data and the meticulous setup that accompanies it. Gary has always been known to be a lateral thinker and solution orientated. His step into the BRC as the CEO is the culmination of his multifaceted, self-directed career and his endless pursuit of making a meaningful contribution.

Hendrik has 20 years’ experience in market research and strategy, both on the agency side and client side. His research experience spans a wide range of industries, including retail, FMCG, media, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and financial services.

He is the CEO of The Collective – digital ad agency, a board member of WWF-Kenya, the chairman of the Advertising Standards Board, and a past president of Pan African Media Research Organization (PAMRO). He has been an active Rotarian for 20 years and served as District Governor in 2019-20. Joe currently the Rotary International Representative to UNEP.

Terry has a wealth of experience in the media and marketing industry, spanning more than 20 years in broadcast sales, agency account management and digital measurement in both South Africa and the USA. Having held several leadership roles, her knowledge and expertise include media strategy, consumer insights, business development and econometric modelling.

In 1998 I joined a creative agency, which is when the advertising bug bit me. I worked to open an African operation (In 10 countries) and soon moved into a Global agency to start their Africa Division (in 32 Countries), opening of offices and helping clients who wanted to advertise on the African continent. I grew under the leadership of Gordon Patterson for 11 years and worked my way up, through the various departments, to Deputy Managing Director in 2009.
In 2014, I moved to Dentsu Group, where I was made business development manager, and within 4 months I was appointed Managing Director of Carat. I grew and managed the Carat Agency, where we saw over a 200% revenue growth in just 4 years. In 2019 I was promoted to Amplifi Director to look after all Central Service division, 6 divisions, which included Trading / Investments / Programmatic / Ad Operations / Content and Insights & Research for all the agencies within the Dentsu Group. In 2021 June I going OMD as General Manager.
In August 2007 I received the PAMRO (Pan African Media Research Organization) achiever of the year award for continued support and continuous driving of research into Africa. In 2019 I received the Baobab award for my efforts for doing the PAMRO Country reports for over 15 years. In 2018 I was voted the Media Agency Legend in South Africa along with winning the Media Agency Year award in African Cristal Awards.I have worked on numerous clients such as AbInvBev, Absa, Loreal, Tiger brands, GSK, Coca Cola, HP, Microsoft, SAA, Samsung and many more.I believe in driving efficiencies through highly effective top performing teams.

I have joined the OMD family in 2021 with a key focus on growing our clientele across Africa.

Role and responsibilities have been team sales targets, strategy, planning, implementation, buying, trend analysis, Global reports and co-ordination across multiple African countries, which involved co-ordinating and controlling agencies and distribution partners. The process involved briefing suppliers and agencies in Africa as well as negotiations of centralised buying and trading deals. Consumer, Shopper and Category Insight generation and analysis in conjunction with relevant research partners so as to drive strategic brand / product engagement with various Target Audiences thus resulting in a more focused approached that delivered a more effective plan. My involvement with the World Health Organisation in Africa unlocked CSR opportunities for the organisation and aided the consumer’s connection with the brand/s in the various markets.

I bring over 23 years of experience across a variety of disciplines and management. I am a commercially rounded individual, and this is largely due to her experience working across Client, Media Agency and Media Owner. My experience comprises of Sales, Marketing, Customer Marketing, Trade Marketing, Strategic Planning and Below the Line Marketing.
I have held various leadership roles and I am accustomed to managing teams across multiple markets and disciplines. In addition to media, sales and marketing background I have also led cross functional project teams to deliver specific NPD as well as innovation.

I am Stacey Fru, the current face of the African Union (AU) and International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) 2021 International Campaign for the Elimination of Child Labour #EndChildLabour. I am a South African International Multiple Award-Winning Child Author and Activist. I am 14 years old and I wrote my first book “Smelly Cats” at age 7. I have since dedicated a portion of my life to reach out, to inspire and edutain people of various ages across the world. One of my books is available in Braille and Daisy formats. I run The Stacey Fru Foundation that reach out to donate books, food, computers and other items to children and care homes across South Africa. Through my foundation, I also honour other African children who are impacting their communities by awarding them during The Annual African Children of the Year Awards held every November in South Africa.
